Miley Cyrus was largely critisized for her racy photos in Vanity Fair magazine recently. These images of the FIFTEEN YEAR OLD were completely inappropriate. They showed her without clothes showing her bare back in the photo. Even more disturbing than this is the fact that the Vanity Fair website crashed as a result of so many people looking for the images. What does this say about our society? We hear about racy photos of a young girl, and our first reaction is to be outraged, right? Apparently our first reaction is to search out and see these pictures for ourselves.

  1. The thing is… why are we spending so much time talking about this? What’s the obsession? And really? Doesn’t it provide an opportunity for parents to have discussions with their kids about sexuality and gender and appropriateness, instead of flipping out?
I just feel like this is another distraction to keep people from paying attention the real nonsense that is happening around them

  2. I really don’t think it is as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. Yes it was inappropriate to pose nude for a magazine, and she also apologizes for the embarassment towards her fans. Its not like the picture actually showed anything anyways. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, why critisize her for the one thing she did wrong.

  3. view my blog for a few prom pix! >becky
